Brian is a well known Bible teacher with a particular emphasis on Biblical end time events. Believing that these events are already underway, he believes that the Rapture of the Church to glory is imminent. Brian and Gilly (pic here with Bethan)travel throughout the UK and he also teaches in Europe and the USA. Although they are regularly in fellowships and churches who know them well, they are most happy to visit new venues to bring the message of the Gospel and the nearness of Christs return.

HERE IS A BRIEF SUMMARY OF MY LONG WEEKEND IN SOUTH EAST WALES WRITTEN BY NEVILLE STEPHENS FROM HIS BLOG AT "TURF" NEAR NEWPORT.

Dear Friends,

What a great weekend we have just had with the inspirational and knowledgeable Bible Prophecy expert BRIAN GEMMELL from York, on his long weekend mini tour of our region here in SOUTH WALES.

Brian commenced his ministry here at TURF in CROSS KEYS on Friday evening with a fascinating address on "EARTH DWELLERS OR HEAVEN'S CITIZENS". Brian was accompanied by his lovely wife Gilly (pictured below at NANCY'S FARM near Bassaleg), and also his great wee mother Kathleen, and they helped swell our numbers, although the actual attendance was a wee bit down on what we had hoped for.

Brian's subject was particularly appropriate as his meeting took place the day after Obama, Merkel, Cameron and the other "leading earth dwellers" of NATO vacated their world summit meeting at the Celtic Manor Resort just outside of NEWPORT. As they do not know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour, Brian stated that they have no idea of how to really run the world, for without Yeshua, it is impossible! He also commented on president Obama making a special trip to STONEHENGE in Wiltshire, an Occultic and Pagan Shrine, which was quite fitting for a man of dubious spirituality! Was it just for a great photo shoot or did he secretly worship "his god" in his heart at the ancient stones?

Starting with that great chapter in Hebrews eleven, Brian took us on an incredible journey through the Scriptures in both the Old and the New Testaments, urging us to emulate the examples laid down for us by these great men of overcoming faith, who forsook everything the earth had to offer, and suffering many trials and tribulations as they looked for their real home and citizenship.........IN HEAVEN (read Heb 11: 10-16) and apply it to yourselves. The following day on Saturday, Brian took a superb three session seminar at the beautiful location of Nancy's splendid 17th century farmhouse in BASSALEG on the outskirts of WALES' third largest city, which was packed to the brim with a great turn out. The wordsmith from York was in irresistible form as he condensed the whole of the amazing book of REVELATION into approximately three hours, followed by a very lively Q&A session.

This astonishing but extremely well executed study was all contained within the subject title of "AN OVERVIEW OF THE BOOK OF REVELATION - THE CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER OF THE BOOK FROM ETERNITY PAST TO OUR GLORIOUS FUTURE". A fabulous heading and also a fabulous treatment of this great teaching and well worth listening to. All four sessions were recorded by our good friend Keith Cline from Bristol and will soon be available for just £10 in DVD format. I can certainly recommend them to you. On the Sunday morning Brian concluded his long weekend in our region by leading the service at the CITY OF REFUGE CHURCH also in Bassaleg near Newport. His title was "LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED" and Tony Spearing normally records all of the ministry at his church. And so came to an end a very inspiring weekend of ministry and fellowship with Brian and his family in our little corner of South Wales.
