David's Comment:   Flying in the Face of the Creator of the Universe
Jeremiah 30:3  'For behold, the days are coming,' says the LORD, 'that I will bring back from captivity My people Israel and Judah,' says the LORD. 'And I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.'"  (NKJ)

This week the seriously misguided government of the United Kingdom joined seriously misguided new government of Sweden in the officially recognising the so-called state of Palestine.  The making this decision, these foolish politicians, had placed their the nations on a head on collision course with the Holy One of Israel and will soon experiece the heat of His wrath. It is highy likely that many more nations will follow suit in the weeks and months ahead.

There are dozens of Bible verses like the one above, that speak about the Lord's intention to return all of the Jewish people from both the house of Israel and the house of Judah, to the land of Israel at the end if the current age.  Acts 3:21 tells us that Yeshua must remain in heaven until the time of the fulfillment of all the words of the Old Testament prophets.. Thus the return is an absolute pre-requisite before Yeshua can return to establish the Millenium reign.   Therefore every Bible believing Christian should be excited by the ongoing return of the Jewish people to the land of their forefathers. Not only excited by, but participating in some way to assist Jewish people from every nation to get back to Israel as soon as possible.  We should not be saying  "MARANATHA" unless we are doing something about it.

As a result of the many wars over the last 100 years, more than 100 million people have been made homeless refugees.  The United Nations, and its predecessor, the League of Nations, worked very effectively to permanently re--settle or relocate nearly all of these 100 million refugees - all except the so called Palestinian refugees that is.  By the way, the news media has always told the world that the so called Palestinians in the the Middle East live in 'refugee camps' giving the impression that they live in tents.  Even I had that impression until several years ago. But they do not live in tents. These refugee camps are actually normal concrete dwellimgs in Arab towns and cities.

Why do I write ''so called Palestinians" ?  Because there is no such thing as a Palestinian.  Even the word is illegitimate in God's eyes. The Romans invented the name to remove the connection to God that is found in the name IsraEL.  From the restoration of Israel in 1948 until the 6 Day War of 1967, Jordan annexed and controlled East Jerusalem and the so called West Bank, with Arabs from every surrounding country living under Jordanian control. During that time there was never any talk of a Palestinian people.  There was the Palestine Philharmonic Orchestra, the Palestine Post and the Palestine Electric Company, but they were all Jewish. If there was such a thing as Palestinian people, they would be Jewish not Arab. Its all an Islam / media fabrication. - A HUGE LIE !!!

One must also ask "Why have the so called Palestinians refugees living in other countries never been permanently resettled ?  Initially there were about 850,000 displaced - now their offspring numbers more than 3.5 million, and the Saudi Arabian peace plan calls for their right of return to Israel, thus ensuring the eventual demise of the Jewish state of Israel.  Can you see why the refugees were never resettled ?  It was the Devil's plan to keep them as the bait with which to hook the once Christian Western world into standing alongside the Muslim world in the destruction of Israel, preventing the second coming of Messiah. I can understand the secular unbelievers going along with Satan's plan, but why people who claim to be Christians side with the so called Palestinains ?   To cut the size of Israel back, or to stop the return of the Jewish people, or to overun the country with non-Jews, is to delay or totally prevent the return of the Lord.

To close on a positive note, we must surely be living in what the prophets called the end of the age, or the latter days. Let's hasten the day of the Lord's return by praying that our pastors will have a revelation of this message, getting our churches involved in bringing the Jews home.  Lets be praying for the Western leaders to wake up, and lets pray Psalm 83 over all who conspire against the Lord's land and people.
!
The Lord bless you as you bless Israel by standing in defense of her right to exist in the land given to the Jewish people by the God of Israel.  Please pray that Israel will turn back to their God.  Do not be silent at this most strategic time, but share this with your fellow Christians, share it with your pastors, and with anyone you have a chance to speak to.  Please also pray for a major break-through to the Muslim world, and please remember to pray for all of the soldiers in the IDF - they are defending and fighting for the soon coming of Messiah and the Kingdom of God.

Shabbat Shalom .... David & Josie

THIS WEEKS NEWS REPORTS

1.  Spain May be the Next to Recognise Palestinian State   Jerusalem Post Oct 17th

The Spanish parliament is reportedly set to vote on recognising Palestinian statehood following suit of British lawmakers last week, according to Al Arabiya on Thursday.  The report came following a vote in Britain’s House of Commons on Monday in favour of recognizing a Palestinian state alongside Israel. While the motion did not alter the government's stance on the issue, it carried symbolic value for Palestinians in their pursuit of statehood.  Israel dismissed the diplomatic significance of the symbolic vote by refusing to dignify it with a formal response from Jerusalem.    Instead, its embassy in London issued a statement;....  “There should be no illusion that a unilateral call for premature recognition of Palestine advances peace in any way whatsoever. It fails to address the real obstacles to peace, including the Palestinian insistence on a ‘right of return,’ which undermines the very concept of two states for two peoples, as well as the need for genuine security arrangements to prevent further mass attacks on Israeli civilians,” the statement read.Lets pray that Spains leaders will not be so foolish as to recognise a state that has never existed and will never exist

2.  Iran Arming Hamas for Next War With Israel   Israel Today News   Oct 16th
Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei promised increased support for Arab Palestinian terrorists and urged them to stockpile arms in anticipation of a new war on Israel, according to public comments made Thursday following his meeting with members of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terror group.  "Fighting the Zionist regime [Israel] is a war of destiny," Khamenei [prophetically!] said after a meeting with PIJ's secretary general, according to Iran's semi-official Fars News Agency.  Khamenei instructed Arab Palestinians to "intensify their fight against the Israeli regime" and vowed that Iran would continue to arm Palestinian terrorists in both the Gaza Strip and West Bank, according to Fars.  All Palestinian terrorists groups-with Iran's support-should rearm and prepare for another war with Israel, Khamenei said.  "The resistance movements in Palestine should boost their preparedness day by day and reinforce their power resources inside Gaza," Khamenei was quoted as saying Thursday, less than two months after Israel launched an intense several week war against Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip.  Khamenei maintained that the most recent war with Israel, in which thousands of terror rockets were dropped on the Jewish people, marked the start of the "divine promise" of destroying the Jewish state.  Please pray that Iran's actions will be dealt with by the United Nations

3.  FM Lieberman: Abbas Has Joined IS    Times of Israel News   Oct 19th
Israel's Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman on Saturday compared PA President Mahmoud Abbas to the Islamic State and said that the Palestinian leader’s call to defend the Temple Mount from “settlers” is evidence of his attempt to fan the flames of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and turn it into a religious war.  The foreign minister was responding to remarks by Abbas on Friday, in which the PA  leader said  that Israeli “settlers” had no right to “desecrate” the Temple Mount and should be prevented from accessing the site deemed holy to both Judaism and Islam. Abbas reiterated those statements Saturday, saying his people should guard a Jerusalem holy site against visiting Jews, whom he referred to as a “herd of cattle.”  Liberman castigated Abbas and the PLO, saying they stood behind the recent spate of violence in East Jerusalem. He said Abbas was calling for a holy war, and thus joins the ranks of radical Islamist groups such as the Islamic State and the Nusra Front. Please pray that Abbas will ultimately shoot himself in the foot

4.  Two Israeli Soldiers Wounded on Egyptian Border   Times of Israel News  Oct 22nd
Gunmen in the Sinai Peninsula opened fire on an IDF patrol near the Egyptian border on Wednesday afternoon, injuring two soldiers. Both the IDF and Egyptian army were sending troops to the area.  The Israeli soldiers reportedly returned fire and there were ongoing exchanges in the area. Egyptian security sources said that the radical Islamist group Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis was behind the attack. According to Egyptian officials quoted by Channel 2, three gunmen approached the border in a four-by-four and opened fire. The officials said Egyptian soldiers were injured in the incident, but it wasn’t clear from the report how many or by whom.  The incident occurred near Mount Harif in the central Negev Desert, about 112 kilometers from Eilat.  The soldiers came under anti-tank- and gunfire, he said, noting that the wounded soldiers were not in critical condition.  A female company commander in the Caracal Battalion, which patrols the area, suffered light injuries  and a second soldier was in serious condition;   Residents of the area were instructed to remain in their homes.  The al-Arabiya news outlet cited sources in Egypt reporting Egyptian soldiers who were chasing smugglers accidentally fired the shots at the troops.  The Sinai Peninsula is home to numerous Islamist terror groups, including Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis, which was responsible for an attack earlier this year on a bus headed for Israel at the Taba border crossing that left four tourists dead.  Please pray for the wounded soldiers

5.  Baby Girl Killed in Jerusalem Terror Attack   Israel Today News   Oct 23rd
A three month-old little girl was killed on Wednesday evening and another seven people were injured, some of them seriously, in a terrorist attack on innocent civilians waiting at a Jerusalem light-rail stop. The terrorist, a 20 year-old "Palestinian", drove his car into the crowd of people as they waited at the Ammunition Hill stop. The driver attempted to flle on foot after the attack but was shot by a police officer. He later died in hospital.   The incident occurred just before 6pm local time. Police spokesperson Micky Rosenfeld said Thursday morning that, "the perpetrator had tried to kill as many Jews as possible."   The culprit was, according to officials, a resident of the Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan with a known background of violence and had already served a prison sentence for terrorist activities. A Hamas spokesperson was quick to claim that the terrorists actions were, "the natural response to Israel's actions in Jerusalem", while his family stated that this was not a terrorist attack but rather a simple traffic accident.  Surveillance camera footage showed how the vehicle deliberately turned and was targeted into the crowd at the light-rail stop.
There were dramatic scenes at the site of the attack as the mother of the little girl frantically tried to get the assistance of paramedics for her child, with severe head injuries, but to no avail. The little girl died a short time later in Hadassah hospital from her injuries.  Israeli Prime Minister, Binyamin Netanyahu, accused the Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, of complicity in the killing. Netanyahu stated, "this is the way that its government partners work!" He was referring to the Palestinian unity government in which the Hamas terror group is represented. Abbas had earlier this week provoked attacks on Jews by calling for "the protection of the Al Aqsa Mosque from Jewish settlers by any means possible!"
Shortly after the news filtered back that the terrorist had died, masked Arab youths started rioting and clashing with police that tried to restore order. They caused several streets in the Silwan and Issawiya neighborhoods to be blocked off by settings tires on fire, stone-throwing and setting off fireworks.   The Jerusalem light-rail tram has been repeatedly attacked and damaged in recent weeks by Arab rioters. Wednesday night was no exception as the light-rail tram was again attacked by stone-throwers.
Please pray for the family of the baby that they will find Shalom from their pain in Yeshua

6. Daughter of Hamas Leaders Treated in Israeli Hospital  Reuters News   Oct 21

A daughter of Gaza Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was admitted to an Israeli hospital for emergency medical treatment this month after she suffered complications from a routine procedure, sources familiar with the case said. Her week-long admission to a hospital in Tel Aviv shows humanitarian coordination between the sides. During the Gaza war and since it ended in August, dozens of patients have been brought to hospitals in Israel for treatment. (

7.  More Hotel Rooms Planned for Jerusalem

The Jerusalem Municipality and the Jerusalem Development Authority have taken steps in recent days to streamline the process of building new hotel rooms in an effort to increase the availability of temporary lodging in Israel's capital and lower prices for visitors. The goal is to build 1,226 rooms within two years.
